Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The apartment has been newly renovated and is clean, cosy, and perfectly equipped. Everything we needed during our holiday was provided, and there was nothing we missed. We especially enjoyed the spacious terrace with its beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea.

There is air conditioning available, but we did not even need to use it during our stay. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was more than enough to keep the room pleasantly cool during the warmer days.

The location is another great advantage. The beach is just across the street, while the apartment itself is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. There are shops nearby where we could easily buy everything we needed, and the town centre is within comfortable walking distance. There are also many excellent restaurants where we enjoyed relaxing meals, or where we could simply pick up food to take away.

The owner, Irena, was very helpful and happy to recommend local restaurants, places to buy groceries, and nearby markets. She checked in with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was fine and to see if we needed any advice or assistance.

The surrounding area offers many interesting places to explore. It is easy to take wonderful trips and discover charming mountain villages such as Orsomarso, Maiera, and Domenica Talao, as well as coastal towns like Diamante, Praia a Mare, and Maratea. All of these destinations are within approximately 30 km of the apartment.

We also highly recommend visiting the ruins of Castello Normanno and Torre Talao, which offer breathtaking views of the Calabrian coastline and the town of Scalea. A boat trip is another unforgettable experience, and Mrs Pluhařová can help arrange this for you.

For anyone looking for more than just lying on the beach and wanting to experience the beauty, culture, and atmosphere of Calabria, this is the perfect place to stay.
