Your Guide to a Comfortable Stay

Welcome to Apartment Casairi
Maximum Occupancy
Please respect the apartment's maximum occupancy of 2 adults and one child under 10 years old. The bathroom facilities, boiler capacity, and bathroom dimensions cannot accommodate more people with the desired comfort.
Smoking
Smoking is only allowed on the terrace - ashtrays are in the kitchen drawer. Please dispose of cigarette butts carefully in the ashtrays. Throwing cigarette butts from the terrace can result in heavy fines and a risk of starting a fire.
Pets
Small dog breeds are allowed but only with prior agreement.
Noise and Events
Please respect the neighbors and keep noise levels low, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Hosting loud parties and celebrations is not allowed, and there are rules in the house that, if violated, are subject to fines.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Please keep the apartment clean. All cleaning supplies are located in the kitchen under the sink and in the bathroom under the washbasin. Laundry supplies are on the shelf behind the washing machine. Please dispose of trash in designated bins. There are small containers for sorted waste: paper, plastic, and mixed. Bins are located in front of the building by the main road. We try to sort waste and teach our friends from Italy to do so too :-)
Do not move the furniture. The furniture intended for the terrace has waterproof padding, but in case of wind, please bring it inside or secure it, as it can fly onto the road or into other apartments. Before leaving, store all padding in the bedroom. If it flies away, I would have to charge you for it :-(
Always retract the awning at night and when leaving the apartment. Storms and wind can be very quick and can tear the awning from the wall, causing damage to cars below or in surrounding apartments. Not to mention the danger to people. If a storm or strong wind comes, you won't be able to retract it, and it will be torn off.
Personal Items and Security
As I mentioned, I like to spend time here throughout the year, so I have my personal items stored here. They are mainly stored in the cabinets under the ceiling, both in the bedroom and above the coat rack at the entrance. The fact that they are lockable is not because of the value of the contents but rather to prevent my shirts or shoes from falling out when you open the cabinet :-)
In the bedroom, on the left side of the built-in wardrobe, there are supplies of bathroom towels and beach towels. Please do not mix them, as no one wants sand in bathroom towels. The wardrobe also contains bed linen, various tablecloths, blankets, and similar amenities, fully available for your comfort. Only the colorful beach towels are intended for taking out of the apartment; the remaining items are for interior use.
Of course, I recommend securing your personal belongings as well. Do not carry large amounts of cash with you, as you can pay by card or contactless almost everywhere. Store your documents in the apartment; you won't need them at the beach or in a restaurant.
When leaving the apartment, especially check the items on the terrace. It can be quite windy here, and you might find your laundry on completely different balconies, along with the cushions from the terrace chairs. Retract the awning. Close windows and doors. Do not leave valuables unattended. You are in a tourist area, so there are also petty thieves. Be extra cautious when handling open flames, including candles on the terrace. We are in an area with a high risk of fires. Be extra cautious when crossing the road; the same rules about pedestrian right of way at crosswalks apply here, but they are generally not respected. It's very unpleasant, so take care!!!
Kitchen
The kitchen is very well equipped. Of course, there are cutlery, plates, bowls, colanders, mugs - even homemade ones!, glasses, openers, peelers, knives, spatulas, wooden spoons, basically everything you can think of. Even the essential moka pot is not missing :-)
Since I love cooking, there is a constant supply of basic spices, sugar, salt, pasta, oils, and you will definitely find chilled Prosecco in the fridge upon arrival. I adhere to the principle that you can use what you need, and if something runs out, you replenish it for the next guest. It works great, and don't forget to put Prosecco in the fridge before you leave for the next tired visitor :-).
Appliances and Equipment
The apartment is fully equipped with all essential appliances: washing machine, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, ice maker, induction hob, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, stick and hand mixer, hairdryer, iron. In addition, the apartment has air conditioning and a boiler. Everything is new. There are also socket adapters available in the apartment. What you can't find, you will certainly discover in Chinese megastores, for example, above Interspar or Eurospin.
If any appliance does not work as it should or something breaks, please contact me, preferably on WhatsApp, and I will try to resolve it as soon as possible, as everything is still under warranty. It may happen that you break something, and therefore I recommend having liability insurance, which most people have as part of their home insurance. I recommend checking whether you have it as well. It makes everything much easier and prevents unpleasant situations for both parties.
Since I love this place and spend a lot of time here during the year, I have equipped myself for work as well. I have an external large monitor, printer, keyboard, and mouse here. If you happen to need to use them in an emergency on vacation, they are also available to you, and the same rules regarding sockets apply.
In the bedroom, there is a TV where you can tune in to Czech programs thanks to VodafoneTV. Instructions for tuning are on the shelf under the TV.
Since lightning rods are not mandatory in Italy, our house does not have one. For this reason, when leaving or before an impending storm, unplug everything except the refrigerator, induction, dishwasher, and boiler. I am naturally insured for this, but burning appliances could complicate your stay with me. Store your items from the terrace, you would be surprised at what can be set in motion.
In addition to the mentioned appliances, the apartment is also equipped for the winter months with electric heating ladders and a fan heater. Please do not turn these on during your stay, I believe you will be warm enough :-)
Regarding the use of air conditioning, the devices are completely new, fully functional, and automatic programs can be set. When leaving the apartment, always make sure that the air conditioning is turned off. Energy is expensive everywhere, and you would unnecessarily pay extra during the settlement of your stay. Normal cooling consumption is accounted for, believe me, the room cools very well at 21 - 22 degrees and that in a few minutes. There is no need to cool to 15 degrees and when you are not home. Let's save both our wallets and the environment :-)
Terrace
I recommend using clothespins on the drying rack and pushing the drying rack against the wall or securing it in some other way.
The terrace has a nice awning that can be secured in 3 positions. It is also good to secure it tightly so that the fabric is not sagging, as it then makes unnecessary noise.
The air conditioning naturally releases condensate, so be careful not to slip and better place canisters at the condensate outlet.
Keep in mind that all water freely from the terrace flows into the drains in the corners, and from there it goes to the terrace one floor below - where the drain is interrupted again, so everything that the water sweeps away floats to the neighbors = cigarette butts, sand, etc. (the neighbor collects these things and then tells me stories about them :-) ). Therefore, please try to keep the terrace clean.
There is a new shower on the terrace. It is intended for refreshing while sunbathing on the terrace. If you shower outside, use the curtain so that the water does not unnecessarily go to the neighbors below us, and you then do not have to improve your Italian conversation skills with the neighbors :-). Yes, the drainage system is not exactly logical, but what in Italy is, right?
All windows in the apartment are equipped with mosquito nets. Thanks to that, it is pleasant in the apartment at night. Please respect that it is not a cheap trick, and if you tear or otherwise damage the mosquito net, it will be unnecessary trouble for both parties. The approximate cost is €180 per window, but it's worth the comfort.
If you still invite some insects into the apartment, we are equipped with plug-in repellents, or you can refill them. There are plenty of insect sprays and citronella for the body in stores, so everyone according to their own discretion.
